NVRF (Negative Void Reactivity Fuel) Bundle Design for CANDU and CANDU-derived reactors

NVRF bundles will continue to use natural uranium and are engineered to replace existing fuel bundles in CANDU and CANDU-derived reactors. Their purpose is to convert the reactor’s response from positive to strongly negative void reactivity during a Loss-of-Coolant Accident (LOCA), significantly enhancing inherent safety.

MUSCAON (Modular Ultra Safe Cheap Always ON) Nuclear Power Stations

MUSCAON Nuclear Power Stations are Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWRs) similar to CANDU technology but enhanced with superior inherent and engineered safety features. Their modular nuclear island and AI-assisted balance-of-plant design enable significantly shorter construction schedules and lower overnight costs. The targeted LUEC (Levelized Unit Energy Cost) is at least 50% lower than that of the latest PWR, BWR, and CANDU reactors.
